New interface EBSCO-databases

The EBSCO-databases have a new interface and this means that the steps you have to take to export references to your RefWorks-account have changed slightly.

  1. Click behind each article at ‘Add to folder’
  2. Click on the top of the page on ‘Folder’
  3. Mark the titles
  4. Click on Export (the button with the green arrow)
  5. Mark ‘Direct Export to RefWorks’
  6. Click Save

The EBSCO-databases the UL offers are: Business Source Premier, Historical Abstracts, EconLit, Regional Business News, Blackwell Encyclopedia of Management, Library Information Science & Technologies Abstracts (LISTA) and International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS).

In this Webinar you’ll learn how to import an EndNote version 8 or higher library and how to import an EndNote version 7 or lower library. Conversion issues and troubleshooting problems will also be dealt with.

Exporting references from PsycARTICLES and PsycBooks (OVID)

The settings of the OVID databases PsycArticles and Psycbooks have been changed: now you can use the Direct Export function to export your references from these databases. These are the steps you have to follow:

  1. Mark the titles you want to add to your RefWorks-account
  2. At the left side, under fields, choose which information you want to export (normally you’ll select complete reference)
  3. Choose at ‘Results Format’ for ‘Direct Export’
  4. Click Save
  5. Mark ‘Export results to RefWorks’ and click ‘Continue’. You probably have to allow pop-ups.

Attachments visible in RefShare

From now, you can choose if you want to show your attachments in your shared references or not.
